A. BOOK PAYMENTS • A valid credit card is required at time of reservation, with initial payment charged immediately upon contract (pay-in-full or monthly payment option). Subsequent payments will be charged to the credit card on file until book contract balance is paid.

Book charges will appear as individual transactions on Member’s credit card statement, charged separately from AtEdge Membership fees and any other AtEdge program add-ons, such as Virtual Creative Meetings, Face-to-Face events, etc.

Membership and Book payments must remain current in order for advertising to be included in reserved books. It is the Advertiser’s responsibility to notify the AtEdge Accounting Department prior to the monthly payment date if an alternate credit card is to be used. Invoices will not be generated for the monthly payment plan. Advertiser may contact the accounting department at any time for a current statement of account.

B. BOOK SPREAD DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS • Advertiser agrees to follow the design/format requirements of AtEdge publications. Complete digital layout and submission instructions will be sent to Advertiser upon receipt of book reservation/contract. All imagery must be submitted as high-resolution digital files.

AtEdge books are designed to have a clean, consistent look which focuses on the image, with no more than one image per page or spread. The photographer’s contact information will always be typeset and positioned by the Publisher. No personalized logos, custom type or captions will be allowed on the page. Complete image placement guidelines and requirements for contact information will be included in the Artwork Submission Instructions available to Advertiser after reservation.

Publisher cannot accept any responsibility for the quality of the imagery printed from Advertiser’s supplied digital file.

C. BOOK SUBMISSION DEADLINES / PUBLICATION SCHEDULE  Each quarterly AtEdge publication has its own artwork submission deadline. Deadlines must be maintained in order to ensure that publications are printed and distributed on schedule. If Advertiser’s artwork arrives after the submission deadline for a publication, there is no guarantee that it will be included in that publication. No refunds or credits will be made if an Advertiser’s work is not included in a publication due to the late submission of artwork.

If Advertiser is unable to meet an artwork submission deadline, Advertiser may choose to defer their participation to the next scheduled quarterly publication, or may instruct the AtEdge Production Department to re-run Advertiser’s imagery from a previous AtEdge publication for the current issue.

Publisher shall not be responsible for failure to publish due to events beyond the Publisher’s control.

D. PAGE PLACEMENT • Placement in each AtEdge publication will be at the discretion of the Publisher. Please do not make special placement requests.

E. PROOFS • One electronic pre-press PDF proof will be transmitted to each Advertiser prior to printing. Advertiser will have 2 days to approve such proof, or submit instructions and/or new digital files for correction. The Publisher cannot guarantee that corrections or alterations will be made if they are received from Advertiser more than 4 days after transmittal of proof to Advertiser. There will be no charge to correct proofing errors. However, additional charges will apply to author’s alterations or color correction to Advertiser-supplied high resolution digital files. Advertiser agrees to pay any applicable alteration/correction charges before changes will be made.

F. CONTACT INFORMATION / COPY CHANGES • It is the Advertiser’s responsibility to bring any copy changes for contact information to appear in the AtEdge publications to the attention of the Publisher prior to publication. Copy changes submitted after an artwork deadline may result in additional production charges. The Publisher cannot guarantee that copy changes will be made if they are received from Advertiser after the proof stage (see Proofs, above).

G. SOCIAL MEDIA USAGE • Serbin Creative reserves the right to post book images uploaded by Advertiser on the AtEdge blog and social media outlets for the purpose of promoting the Advertiser individually as well as the at-edge.com website.

H. SUITABILITY OF MATERIALS • Advertiser warrants, represents and agrees that the advertising submitted to the Publisher will not infringe upon any copyright or violate any property or personal rights of any third party, or include therein scandalous, libelous or unlawful matter. Publisher shall have the right to refuse to publish any materials which it deems, in its sole discretion, unsuitable for publication in any AtEdge publication.

I. REFUNDS & TERMINATION • Advertiser must notify the Publisher in writing of any intent to cancel or alter this contract. Due to the cost of production, paper and marketing there can be no refunds or transfer of payments to other AtEdge or Serbin Creative programs after deposits or payments are made. Due to the premium nature and limited availability of AtEdge, Advertiser agrees to be 100% responsible for contracted space, regardless of cancellation. Please be sure you can meet the obligations of this contract before sending in your reservation. The liability of the Publisher shall be strictly limited to a pro-rated refund to Advertiser of amounts previously paid by Advertiser to SCI in the event of any failure to include Advertiser’s page(s) in, or a failure to publish, one or more of the AtEdge publications.

J. WIRE TRANSFER FEES • An additional charge of US$25 will be added to Advertiser’s account for each wire transaction. This is in addition to any fees that may be charged by Advertiser’s financial institution.

K. LATE PAYMENTS • A charge of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) will be applied to any late payment(s). Publisher will not run advertising in any AtEdge publication if Advertiser’s account is not current at time of submission deadline for that publication. Returned Checks: A returned check charge of UD$10 will apply for each check returned unpaid for any reason. Once an NSF check has been received, the Publisher reserves the right to accept payment(s) via credit card and cashier’s check only. Collection Fees: In the event that an account is sent to a collection agency, any and all recovery costs associated with the collection of a past due account will be the responsibility of the Advertiser.

L. REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES • Advertiser represents and warrants that all materials submitted to the Publisher will be free and clear and will not infringe on any copyright or other rights, including but not limited to rights of privacy, or of any other party, and will be accurate and will not contain any matter that is in violation of any law or regulation.

M. THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE INTERPRETED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. Advertiser consents that any legal action or proceeding undertaken by Advertiser in connection with any claim or dispute relating to this Contract shall be brought in any court of the State of California or any federal court of the United States of America located in the county of Santa Barbara, California.

N. NOTES / ADDENDUM • No addendum to this contract will be valid unless initialed and dated by both Advertiser and a representative of SCI. of this contract before sending in your reservation.
